Another great purchase from amazon , does exactly what it says on the tin. Quick 1 hour charge for AA and AAA batteries, and the AA ones supplied held that charge much better than i thought it would and probably comparable to good alkaline batteries. Should save me some money now as i do go through a lot of batteries. Good price too.

I've had eight of these batteries for my digital camera. After less than a year, when I recharge them (in an Energizer recharger) they don't hold any power. I insert them into my camera right after charging overnight, switch it on, and after 2 seconds it switches itself off, with the batteries dead. I've probably recharged them 20 times at most. I've read that this seems to be a problem with the 2500mAh capacity ones, I would stay away from them.

Fantastic! I have used this charger on AA and AAA batteries and true to it's word, they all charged in 15 mins. Haven't used the car charger yet, but I'm sure it will prove really useful in the future, especially on long car journeys. No need for disposbale batteries ever again and no need to wait hours until you have fully charged batteries. I'm still amazed that they can be fully charged in such a short space of time.

They are hit and miss. The annoying thing was that when the unit refused to charge the supplied batteries (which was indicated by a flashing red light) it had to be left for a while (sometimes hours) before it would charge successfully. The last time I attempted to charge the batteries, the unit started to smell of burning and smoke came out.
