I bought this camera to replace my very trusted S9600 which I managed to accidently fry last week. I still plan to have it repaired by Fuji, so at this point in time, I don't know which will become my first choice camera. This is a sturdy feeling camera - some posts have said heavy - but I disagree. I like a camera to feel businesslike, and this one does. It's small - I'm a woman with small hands, and even my fingers tend to feel a little cramped on the body. And putting the lens cap on invariably means you put a big thumbprint over the viewing screen - annoying, but it's new, so maybe I just haven't got the hang of it yet. What can I say? This is an amazing camera and a brilliant price. It takes wonderful photos and is very simple to use. I can't think of any downsides to it, it is just amazing!

This is a great product. It is an official case designed specifically for the finepix f50fd models. It is made of leather, and looks and feels really good. It is also lined with cloth and the words Fujifilm on the inside. The camera case is closed using a magnetic button style clip, and is very secure. The camera fits very snugly into the case, and will not move at all. There is a small opening on the side of the case where you can feed the strap of the camera, so it can be in its case, while holding this. So overall very well made, looks very smart, and will protect your camera from the elements. Well worth buying, top marks.

This camera is amazing. I've owned 2 other ones in this line (and managed to lose one and destroy the other) and this one is a big improvement over the F50 I had before. The pictures it takes are amazing and the auto mode is excellent. I just wish it took MPEG4 videos. If it did that I'd ask Amazon for a 6th star.

I bought this card to expand the capacity of an old, but reliable, Olympus camera. It is used in both the camera and my PC, without error. When in the PC it appears as a normal disk drive, and has been reformatted without problems. It is difficult to elaborate on the performance of a memory card; it either works or is does not. This one does.

I ordered 2 of these cards becuaes Fuji are discontinuing their original XD cards and replacing them with new H or M versions. Of course, these don't work on camereas that are 2 or more years old as well, or at all - my S5000 will take stills but not video with the new cards. What was actually delivered were 2 H XD cards, the very thing I was trying to avoid. Amazon - please replace the picture and technical information with the correct details!
