As well as those mentioned by the other reviewer, this case also fits the GPSMAP 60 and 76 series units. It's a perfect fit for my 76CSx and a well made case, but check on Garmin's website before you buy.

After much research on the web, including reading Amazon reviews, I opted for this unit against other contenders from Tom Tom and Navman. I have so far been extremely happy with it. I haven't experienced any slow start-ups as some have reported. Bluetooth works perfectly with a range of phones (probably because it's Parrot based). There is good support from Garmin and updating via the web is a breeze. You can also find things like free POI files on the web. The range of features is impressive, although the map isn't current with a local section of the A428 that has been turned into a dual-carriageway in the last year or two. The Garmin Oregon 400t is a very good hand held GPS unit. It has a very solid build quality and is packed full of great features including paperless geocaching. It is also very easy to use and the touch screen works very well. However the same quality cannot be said for the pre loaded mapping. Yes it does contain pre loaded topo maps for europe ,BUT they are nowhere nearly as detailed as the optional topo GB DVD and the hill contours are few and far between. Also if you intend to use this GPS as a sat nav the preloaded maps do not support "TURN BY TURN" mapping for which you need to purchase either the MAPSOURCE TOPO GB DVD or MAPSOURCE CITY NAVIGATOR DVD.The pre loaded SD cards may support TURN by TURN but I'm not sure.

Just to confirm that this does not fit the latest Vista HCx model.... I've had to send it back for a refund/replacement. However it is a quality product.... just the description is a little lacking!!

i bought this from amazon after reading reviews and also the price was one of the cheapest when it arrived it was so easy to set up the bluetooth connection to my apple 3g iphone was superb the phonebook sync'd across no probs the actual quality of the maps and the routing has been fine on the several times i have used it one neat quirk is that you can download different vehicles from the garmin web site to have as your vehicle.overall this is a very good and useful sat nav for the money and is better than several of my friends who have tom toms it also picks up the satalites pretty quick also has life time sub's to traffic update again very good i rate it but we are all different hope you enjoy it if you buy it

Bought this unit before an RV holiday in the US - it really is invaluable abroad, especially in the US where most paper maps are not so good. It takes a huge amount of stress out of driving, primarily through a single feature - showing how far ahead your next turn is. This means you are not constantly looking out for that elusive road on the left - you can relax until you get very close to it, and then its usually obvious. Its quick to recalculate a route if you deviate from the chosen one, so it really doesn't matter even you miss a turn somewhere, it will always get you to your destination. I use the GTM 21 TMC Traffic receiver with my nuvi 760 and it works great. Don't expect to be receiving notifications unless there's a jam up ahead, but when there is, its great. I can absolutely recommend it for the 760 when used in the UK.
