I have severial of these and they all work fine, there quick memory and usefull depending on what you use then for, or too what product you use them with. Mediaplayers use them and i fined that installing is the hardist part, Enclosures are not recommended by me as i would just buy a Freecom 500g hardrive with a built in cooling system rather than buying this and an enclosure for a little less only too have the harddrive overheat and damage. Loseing 500g on memory can be devastateing.

I bought this power supply as I didn't have enough money for the official Apple charger and it seemed like a good deal. I now wish I had waited and spent the extra bit of money on the proper one as this gives terrible interference noise whenever my laptop is connected to any speakers. This interference is also picked up when recording anything into the computer, making the recording completely unusable. However, it's alright if your never going to be connecting your computer to external speakers, and it does seem to be quite solidly built.

When this drive arrived it was the wrong item (they sent a Combo drive) and it did not read any disks at all CD or DVD. I contacted computer trading and they sent the correct item this time, however it too would not read any disk reliably and failed to write to any type of disk either. On top of that it made a loud scraping noise when the disk was spinning. By this time I had decided not to proceed further with this company and opened the drive to effect repair myself if possible (don't do this if you don't want to lose your warranty).
