ahhh its worth the money i spend on it. its good but... in the review it was written that it can transmit upto 10 meters but it doesnt even work for half a meter. very bad. any how it can work if you stuck it to the radio..

Having studied previous reviews of this and similar products, I decided to spend my money on the Grifin iTrip. What a waste of money this has turned out to be. Maybe I have a bad one but there is a constant high piched whine accompanying anything that is being played, the sound quality is punctuated with hiss, crackle and pop (new breakfast cereal) and despite using all of the provided pre set frequencies and a lot of my own, the problem does not go away. I bought this to hold my ipod shuffle whilst I run. I know that the shuffle itself has a clip, but I find it difficult to clip it high enough up my clothing to avoid having yards of wire dangling about whilst I run. It's also handy to have the shuffle somewhere it's easy to skip tracks and adjust volume, rather than clipped to the back of my shorts. In retrospect I would have preferred a plastic node to wrap the spare wire round, but in the end I just wrap it round the armband itself. All told, a useful little item that's well made and easily adjustable. (A word of warning - if you're like me, you'll need to wash it regularly and it will attach itself to your sports socks.)

Excellent piece if kit for your iPod. Does exactly what it says in the description and i had it up and running in under 5 mins.

I bought this item mainly because of other customers reviews. I didn't want a 'plastic' box so upon receiving this solid wooden box I was initially impressed and it was a nice looking unit once switched on. Running the unit off an adapter was bearable but would rather have the PSU in the unit to make things easier. The main problem is the sound dispersion. I have recently moved the location of the unit and have found it has an incredibly small listening angle, the treble becomes too dull and the bass, which was previously clear and punchy, becomes suprisingly muffled. I have a brand new 32Gb iTouch, the 2G version as they say, with the volume control buttons. This is a nice case but it doesn't fit this model - the itouch simply doesn't fit in the case (and of course there is no hole for the volume controls.

After looking for a splitter I came across this one, that thankfully, has separate volume controls (had been wondering whether these had been made. No I don't get out much). Neat. I suggest that if you do not own in-earphones then you should purchase a pair as I tested the sound quality of my headphones and found that even with the volume control up to the max the sound was very poor. Absoulutely perfectly the same quality if you were to plug your earphones straight into your ipod/MP3. Maybe it was just my headphones, I don't know...yet. The packet says for all ipods but I've just purchased a Sony MP3 and plugs in like a dream.

After months of waiting for the new iPod Touch to be released, I quickly jumped on Amazon to find a case for it, however I found that most of the cases were yet to be released. Initially I bought a cheaper silicon case, but because of the size of the touch's screen, the edges curl up and don't protect it very well at all. The Griffin case is the perfect solution to this, as underneath it's soft leathery outer, it is a rigid hardcase, which securely holds the iPod in place. The case comes with a decent screen cover which I've had no problems with so far. Having purchased the 2008 version and found it not fit for purpose I exchanged it for this earlier model. I've used it regularly on 2-4 hour car journeys over a few months and have found it to be very reliable. This model is hassle free and just works. I also love the fact that it remembers your chosen frequency unlike the later one and doesn't turn itself off. Grab one of these while you still can!

For 11 quid (current price at time of writing) this does the job quite nicely for supplying music when doing gardening, gym etc. where the bulkier case that I normally use gets in the way. I use this with a 5th Gen 30GB video iPod which is the same size as the new 'classic's I believe, and although it's a bit tight to get in and out it functions perfectly. Cheap, cheerful and perfectly adequate for the job.
