Went to buy this item, needed a fair few as I go through a lot of ink. Had to decide against it as they tried to charge me more than the value of the items in postage and packaging, About £24. Not good if you ask me.

costs more but works well. i tried advantage and the ink was inferior quality so had to buy hp ink anyway.

This is an exellent product, with very good quality prints and scans. It also feels well-designed and easy to use. It was simple to set up and it is now working very well with my Apple Mac. However, Mac users should note that the CD/DVD printing software only works with Windows. As it happens, I already my own Mac-friendly CD printing software (Disc Cover), and I can tell you that this works well with the printer. This is a lovely printer, and it's a shame about the Windows-only piece of software. For this reason I have given it 4 stars, but would happily upgrade to 5 stars if HP were to make it totally Mac-friendly.

thanks for telling me about avantage-online.co.uk i am new to this printer scam i got it a few months ago and this is the first time i had to replace the cartridges i was horrifed at the cost well i phoned them and got to talk to a realy nice guy that was able to advise me on the right cartridges to get they came today brillent could not praise them highly enought you dont have to get riped off with tiny cartridges the one they recomoned is 24ml's for 12 pounds

I spent time checking that the cartridge would be suitable for my photosmart printer and found that the 350xl was a match for the C4200 series - unfortunately the product that arrived did not fit my printer. The code would benefit from a more detailed explanation in the description as to printer compatability. The 351xl that I ordered from cartridge king was a perfect fit. Not sure what went wrong in the ordering process from Indigo Starfish for the black cartridge but this has proved a costly mistake - as I did not realise it would not not fit until after opening the package.

During the course of my work i have occasion to use many different HP printers and fax machines. Untill recommended by my brother inlaw to use www.advantage-online.co.uk i had little faith in the re-manufactured versions available at all sorts of prices. However i have been using advantage for about 6 months and have to say that the version they sell is excellent. Not the cheapest compatible 57 cartridge you can buy but the quality is excellent and lasts alot longer. I order today and always get the goods tomorrow with free post, and i still save money.

This is a superb little printer at a superb little price. I've had it for a while now, and haven't yet discovered any annoyances at all. I would have given it 5 stars, but I'm afraid I knocked one off because of the manufacturer's mind-bogglingly cheapskate decision not to include the necessary printer cable. If the cable was an expensive item, it might be understandable, but since you can buy one for only £2-£4, it's just... well, it's just plain cheapskate. Of course, if you're replacing an older printer, you'll already have the cable, but that's not really the point. Having got that off my chest, I've nothing else against this machine whatsoever. Since we don;t know why the HP337 has been given another number on your website we don't know if this is the right item or not or if when ordered we are going to receive the HP337 at all. This kind of marketing simply confuses the customer. The customer needs to see the HP337 clearly next to the item. No other references whatsoever are necessary! This is a mixed up ad in my opinion and needs sorting out to avoid confusing customers. I shall not place an order until it is!

Ink cartridge. Black. Goes in my HP Deskjet 5650 (see HP Ink Compatibility Chart at top of Product Description page). Excellent quality. Not so hot economy/value. (£12 at the moment. I say 'worth' a tenner.) What it says on the tin.
