I ordered this 2 days ago and received it today on normal free supersaver delivery......thank you amazon. I have spent ages trying to decide on which IPOD speaker dock to get and finally decided on the JB Lansing Radial and boy am I pleased I did. The sound quality coming from such a small item is incredible and having listened to the Bose sound dock in John Lewis, this easily out classes the Bose at a fraction of the price. If you can stand the "star trek" looks complained of in a previous review then buy this. Personally,, I think the radial looks cool but the only reason you should buy this is for the sound quality.......did I say it was incredible????

I recently purchased these speakers after having read the plethora of positive reviews on the Internet. Excitement soon faded away after it actually came to setting up the speakers. The interchangeable covers are a nice idea, but the design is clearly flawed. I was able to remove two of the covers (from the subwoofer unit and speaker), but I could not remove the cover from the other speaker - it was as if it was glued on. I followed the instructions properly, but was unable to remove the cover no matter how hard I tried.

So I was left with a white subwoofer, 1 white speaker and one black. I plugged the unit in, eager to hear how it sounds. Simply put, the built-in speakers in my Apple iMac Intel (2006) sound *better* than the JBL ... Read More:

Creature II 2.1 Multi Media Speaker System - Red

First things first I am not an audiophile - I just love my music and my CD player has broken.
Based on other reviews I purchased these Creature IIs to replace it and connect up my MP3 player in the lounge and I am well pleased. Having tried the usual small portable MP3 player speakers at the lower end of the market I wanted something with a bit more clout that you wouldn't be embarrassed to play with guests round. I found that you can quickly find yourself looking at docking stations and £150 + speaker systems when you go down this path - all I can say is unless you are seriously into your gadgets/brands/technical acoustic qualities then don't bother, just get these and save your money. ... I've had my On Time since July 2007 and of course read the reviews. The radio does work on any station(just read the instructions), you don't have to listen to the same song on your ipod each morning; just change the shuffle setting, the display is a bit bright but not that bad.My only gripe is you cannot set the volume when the alarm goes off as it steadily increases!!It can be very annoying.JBL are aware of this and don't see it as a problem - I do.

We bought this about 8 months ago from Tesco Direct (Was £20 cheaper than Amazon at the time).

I have to say the only thing i can fault this speaker dock for is the battery compartment lid is a little loose and it fell of when it was packed.

It comes with a travel wallet to put it in and we use it primarily by the bedside as its small enough not to take up to much space but the 30w output fills the room well.

We recently took it with us on holiday and it was invaluable as we plugged it in in one room and just unplugged it & used it off batteries when we wanted it in the kids room or outside. Its also useful to have the line in socket so we plugged a small portable DAB radio through it to improve the sound of that ... Read More:

Bought these as a beefier alternative to my 2006 iMac's built-in stereo speakers and they have not disappointed. These perform as well, if not better, than speakers costing many times as much. Phenomenal bass response and clarity right through the dynamic range. The white ones are also an excellent aesthetic match for my iMac (although owners of the current iMac may prefer the aluminium alternatives). What more do you want for twenty quid?

Sometimes you read reviews written by other people about a product you own and wonder why they can think and feel so differently to you.

This item is one of those - I see loads of positive reviews for this system when I found it to be cheap, nasty and just not good enough.

From the moment I opened the packaging my heart sank - these speakers are very small (they are travel speakers after all) - make sure you have read the dimensions PROPERLY before you buy. You have been warned.

Now,it's akin to a law of physics that small speakers = bad sound so I wondered what magic had been performed by JBL on these little chaps. Unfortunately, no rabbits were pulled out of any hats. The volume is ridiculously poor; I bought these because the volume ... Read More:

Electronics : JBL On Stage II Black + Remote Mac/Win
A week ago i bought a cyruslink linkdock from woolworths for £25 which i thought was a good deal. When i started using it the sound seemed clear and detailed but it struggled with bass and when it was turned up loud it distorted badly. But i thought for the money it was ok. After trawling the t'internet and hearing an on stage 2 in tescos i decided to get one and take the cyrus back saying the remote doesn't work which it doesn't unless your right over the dock. The on stage 2 is better in every way the sound is clear and bass is quite punchy for the size of the unit, it is well built and looks good. The power supply is slightly bigger than a DS lites but is very light, where as the cyrus has a plug, cable, heavy brick and then another cable. I am very impressed with this JBL and ... Read More:
