I absolutely love the kenwood wizzard, I bought it about 4 months ago after breaking my old braun one (it fell out of the top cupboard & shattered on the floor!) I use the wizzard daily to make home-made baby food, I have been using the blender section for smooth purees and have now progressed onto the chopper attachment to introduce texture to the baby food. I cant comment on the whisk element as not had cause to use this yet. Would definately reccommend to anyone.

I bought one of these kenwood co606 crome can openers for my mother she is in her late 80is and has bad athritic hands this has made her life so much easier.It has no problem with corned beef tins the magnet works well great bottle opener and knive sharpener. I would highly recomend this can opener for people with hand problems and i now have got one myself. very fast delivery from amozon came within 3 days

After only half a dozen uses, this blender just died outright, emitting a little blue spark inside and then completely dead. Changed fuses with no effect. This blender was then returned and a new one was sent out with no problems - however, within the first few tries, this blender encountered exactly the same problem. The electricals blew resulted in a second dead blender. Both times it had blown, the jug was not even half full of soup. This time I returned it to Kenwood with a detailed description of what had happened (twice!). After chasing the matter up with them, they had an engineer take a look at it, claiming it was working fine and returned it to me. Of course when I plugged it in, it was dead as a doornail. Don't be fooled into thinking you're getting a 2 litre capacity bowl here, there's only just over 1 litre useable volume.I was looking for a processor to chop vegetables but this one just isn't suitable for chopping more than about one onion at a time otherwise you have to stop and remove some to finish some by hand before the rest is chopped to mush. The processor bowl fits onto the motor over a central removable spindle and sometimes it's a fiddle to get all this to line up and work,also the spindle can come away with the bowl and then drop out. The liquidiser is very good though, and so easy to clean. I wish I hadn't bought this processor. I purchased this kettle via Duronic. It worked well at first but after a short time kept cutting out during the boil process and had to hold the switch down. This happens every so often. Also leaks slightly and limescale is developing around the joins between plastic and stainless steel. I complained to Duronic but as I had discarded the packaging their only response was for me to take it to my nearest Kenwood specialist for repair. My advice - do not purchase this item.

As other reviewers have commented it's not dishwasher safe which is a bit of a pain. It's also fidly, the jug comes apart for easier cleaning so you have the jug a seal & the base/blade unit & have to keep track of them as well as a 2 part lid . performance is ok for thinnish liquids like soup but it won't make a thick fruit puree as it needs quite a bit of liquid to work.

To get rid of the "DEMO" scrolling message perform the following:- 1) Connect up the unit. 2) Switch on the ignition. 3) Ignore what the manual says on page 25 about switching on/off the "DEMO" message. 4) Press the SRC button until the unit displays "STANDBY". 5) Press the MENU button for 1 second until "MENU" is displayed for about 2 seconds followed by another message. 6) Push the control knob towards FM or AM until "DEMO ON" is displayed. 7) Push and hold the control knob for 2 seconds, the display will now read "DEMO OFF". 8) Press the SRC button. 9) Presto, no annoying demo message.
