I bought this particular card as 4GB was the sweet spot for CF card prices at the time, and I already owned some 2GB (50x) Kingston Elite Pro CF cards that I was very happy with and that have never given me any problems. I used the card straight out of the box with my Canon EOS 30D digital SLR and the card had no problems keeping up with the maximum burst rate of the camera, which is 9 continuous photos (RAW+JPEG) at up to 5fps. Even better, when transferring a mixture of JPEG and RAW images to a PC, the card transferred its full 4GB in under four minutes, which is about 18MB/sec, and is faster than transferring the full 2GB of files from my older CF cards. Brilliant card lets me take 1111 pics on a Panasonic 7 million pixel camera. Worked straight off with no need for formatting. My old Jessops Universal Card reader will not read it though.

BOUGHT THIS TO GO IN MY 24" 2.4 GHz INTEL CORE 2 DUO iMAC WHICH ONLY SHIPPED WITH 1GB. I USE ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 3 ALL THE TIME AND RUNNING TWO PROGRAMS AT THE SAME TIME WOULD SLOW THE COMPUTER UP QUITE A BIT. THIS HAS TOTALLY CHANGED THAT. I'M NOW RUNNING 3GB OF RAM (1GB OF ORIGINAL RAM) WHICH HANDLES MULTIPLE PROGRAMS AT THE SAME TIME WITH EASE. PROGRAMS LOAD ALOT QUICKER AND RENDER EFFECTS SO MUCH FASTER. THIS RAM WAS VERY EASY TO FIT AND TOOK ME NO MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES (WATCHED QUICK TUTORIAL ON YOUTUBE). NO ISSUES AT ALL WITH MY MAC RECOGNISING THIS RAM. THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RAM, DID ALOT OF SEARCHING AROUND FOR THIS SPECIFIC ONE AND THIS WAS BY FAR THE CHEAPEST I FOUND. VERY HAPPY!!!!!

I agree with previous comments that the postal charges are a rip-off. However,I recently shopped around at a large shopping mall outside Bristol for sd cards and the cheapest 1G sd cards was more than £13 and the 2G card was over £24. So for a card under £1 and postage around £5 you are still getting a bargain. And it only took 2 days to arrive.

Bought a cheap laptop off Amazon last year which was struggling running Vista with 512MB RAM. Checked the spec on crutial and worked out that this was what I needed. The addition of a gig to this laptop has sped up the boot time by about 300% and enables multiple programs to be used in a much slicker fashion. I'd never installed RAM before but it was very very easy so don't be put off, there are loads of sites which will show you how to do this, also this pack contains instructions. All in all an excellent purchase.

I think this is a handy little device. After losing many a cap in my handbag, this reatractable stick solved that problem. Can't complain about the speed - seems pretty fast - what I would consider the standard for a USB 2.0 device. Plus, Kingston offered a 5 year warranty on these - hard to beat!
