I admit I bought this because it was cheap. I wanted a camera that takes pictures. Good points are that as it's a cheap one I can take it out with me without having to worry someone stealing it or me losing/breaking it, it is very easy to use as it does not have many set up/picture taking options, and also as it was so cheap I could invest some extra money in a large memory card.

In my opinion no one but professional photographers need more than 3-5 megapixels, because most people won't order bigger prints than A4. But I am a little disappointed with the camera because pictures are often very grainy and not sharp (even those taken outside cloudy midday). A digital zoom is OK if you want to zoom in and are not planning to do that ... Read More:
