Electronics : Kodak 512MB Secure Digital ( SD ) Card

I have been using this card in my Kodak EasyShare DX7440 camera and it works fine - no problems at all.

There are cheaper cards available but the stories of failures and loss of precious photos were enough to convince me to buy a well known brand. It's actually a Lexar card branded as Kodak and is warrantied for 5 years.

512mb is plenty for me and my camera - between 243 and 1176 pictures depending on mp and compression settings.

At this price I would say that it is great value when compared to some other makes or high street stores.

Absolutely no problems with this simple to use memory card. It's ideal for snapping away at anything and everything or for taking multiple shots of a scene for reviewing later.

On a 6.1m pixel camera it stores around 850 photos or 45 mins of good quality video - a lot more if your pixels are less. I used it for 3 weeks solid, shooting about 550 photos and about 20 mins of video.

Picture & video transfer to a PC has been hassle free with excellent results.

I bought this printer after some research as I am trying to get good photo results, but keep costs down. I've always been a fan of Epson photo printers. My R300 prints are excellent and the printer has lots of setting options. However, the ink costs and wastage are an issue. My initial prints from the ESP5 were very good, with minimal tweaking required. However, I've been messing with the colourspace settings to use Adobe RGB, and the printer is now blasting out loads of ink. Once I sort out this problem the printer actually looks promising. It also uses pigment ink, which is normally only found on printers costing far more.

Ok so I'm not a tecky, I just want something that will give great pics and be easy to use straight out of the box and this camera does just that.
The instructions are almost intuitive and the on-screen display reminds you what part of the menu you are looking at.
The software is even easier to use - someone went to a lot of trouble to make it this simple.
Outdoor pics are comprehensively catered for.Only one slight reservation is flash photography but any camera of this size is unlikey to have the power to illuminate middle distance objects.
In terms of value for money I shopped around on Amazon a found a stunning deal.
100% recommended, even my missus likes it 'because it just takes brilliant photos'.
