OK here it is... The client software is not good - there are better ones such as kissdx which is free and works far better than the supplied software i use under linux but there is a windows version. DVD playing.. err ok... it does the job but i dont have any dvds Converting hidef MKV's to work on kiss for streaming from a pc... actually really easy and results are great. 1'st strip out the subs using mkvmerge (have to say im using windows GUI under wine) and remux to new mkv. Then get mediacoder from sourceforge (free) and set it to use video h264 avc and nero digital sound (*again using the windows version under wine). There is a section on mediacoder site about ... Contrary to the other reviews we installed the 4 port version of this router (RV042) which I think is the same as the RV082 but minus 4 ports and had absolutely no problem setting the whole thing up. I cant see what is so difficult about this, if your professional IT consultant doesnt know where to start with this I would find another consultant. You get an awful lot for your money with these routers, ours works great and offers excellent performance and reliability for small businesses who rely heavily on internet access. If the RV082 is completely different to the RV042 and is impossible to setup then I take it all back and apologise!

I purchased this card after my old WUSB54GR was stood on by my younger brother. I thought that this would give me a worse signal strength as its inside the PC, but I was wrong. My speed has not decreased in any way after the switch. This is an excellent Wireless card and is pretty cheap.

I Have been though 2 of these modems now. I dont know what am doing wrong they just both just seemed to die during power cuts and when i try and turn them bk on the DSL light wont appear,The modem finds the USB and ETHERNET port but no DSL, I have spent 70 on this product and dont recomend buying it

Got this back in Feb, and it was OK, but nothing special..since that i wish i have never got it.... it reset's itself when the mood takes, and freezes regally.. when you try to switch it off and back on, it simple sits with a dull light on the internet connection.. leave it half hour and it strikes up again until the next time it freezes, which should not take too long..very disapointed, and only 3 month guarentee...cleaver timing that..as thats the time it start to act up..Avoid
