I am now on my third device. First one failed straight out of the box, second one kept dropping the wireless connection and now have the same problem with the third. The standard answer from Linksys Tech Support is make sure you have the latest firmware installed... I suggest anyone looking at purchasing this product read the Linksys Tech forums before they commit. It may also be worth noting that D-Link are offering an 11 year warranty on all of their N products.

I have had so many problems with this card! The drivers that come package with it would not connect in anything other than 54Mbs. Coupled with a Linksys WRT300N (of which I have got through 3) the wireless network performance was worse than my 11g network and kept dropping out, frustrating when you are trying to watch a streamed movie!!! Also, even with a working 11n router, if left in wideband (40MHz) mode the card interferes with audio and video decoding. The sound quality of my media centre PC is severely degraded; disable the card and its fine. Linksys tech support suggested I change the PCI solt the card was in. The Linksys management software packaged with the device is full of bugs, the news groups are littered with people who machines ... Read More:
