Having struggled for a number of years with Home Wireless Networks, like many reviewers before me, I have finally taken the plunge and found the solution to those anoying dead spots around the house. Within 10 minutes of arriving home with these, all my problems have gone. I can now use my internet radio and laptop anywhere. Print server glitches have disappeared and I now find myself wondering what to do with all the free time I will Have. If you have Wireless troubles, buy these.

I was a little dubious about these plugs when I first saw them. 200MBPS connection for less than half of what big brands cost. However I opened the very nondescript white packaging, plugged them in to the wall, installed supplied Ethernet cables from the home-plugs to router and computer and they just worked. Nothing else required. The supplied Ethernet cables are about 1 meter long. There is a software disk in the both, this contains a utility to password protect the plugs and also shows the connection speed. I have tried several plugs in my house and get between 150 and 195 mbps depending on distance. Exellent:I have a four year old Mesh computer running Windows XP,Card fixed with no problems,the supplied software disc was not needed as the card self-installed.

The key thing here is that this interface is a digital interface; you don't need the ultimate in cable quality to get the ultimate in displayed quality. A bit of wet string could almost do the task (assuming it had 19 strands and the correct plugs on the end... ;) So this wonderfully long cable allows digital input to get up to the wall-mounted screen, and keep all the quality of HD. But without the boxes (HD source, Xbox, PS3, etc) being on display. Even makes up-scaled DVDs look good! So, great cable, at a wonderful cost.
