I bought this router ages ago and I've only just decided to warn you of the problems I've had in the past and present. At first because I was on AOL, setting was nearing impossible. I spent 3 days at least messing with it and asking on forums all over the net. Secondly, the connection wasn't and still isn't stable,. I seem to change a setting somewhere to check something and internets gone. Thirdly, I spent a further 2 weeks attempting to configure my WPNT834 router with it and to get Xbox Live over wireless, wasted £[...] on an adaptor that I later found "was not compatible", I never knew something existed in this day of technology. If like me you are looking to enable VPN access to a home network from work, then avoid this router. The setup was quite straightforward (although email logging didn't work until I upgraded the firmware to version 2.0). I installed the VPN client software and the next day the machine (with the VPN software) went into a cycle of continuously crashing, until I disabled the wireless (I also have the Cisco VPN client installed for work). With the wireless disabled and the machine stable I tried to backup my machine to my buffalo NAS drive through wired network. This again caused my machine to crash. I then uninstalled the Netgear VPN client and the machine is now stable with the wireless working. This situation is unacceptable and from searching on ... Read More:

In a large house you may have more then on circuit board for power. This device does not work over seperate circuits so be aware. Great product when same circuit though.
