I have little to add to all the positive reviews - it is quite astonishing how well the atmosphere of a ski resort has been recreated. One point: the default set up for the skis does not reflect how skis work. ie pressure on right ski turns right; if you've even skied once you will know you need to transfer your weight to the left ski to turn right. It is possible to reverse the right/left settings to the correct ones. You need to press buttons 1 & 2 while paused. The pressure monitoring bar changes from blue (incorrect) to pink (correct). Its worth doing this - you don't want to have to unlearn bad skiing habits on a real mountain!

I have a small LCD HDTV, and the first thing i noticed when plugging in the wii via scart is that the quality of the picture was terrible. I was saddened moreso when i discovered that the wii has minimal HD output. I bought this cable in hope to get a vastly improved picture quality, and while it admittedly improved the sharpness overall, it isn't enough to say it's a formiddable jump. I'd highly recommend this cable for anybody with an HDTV, but do not expect a massive overhaul of the picture quality. More often than not it simply highlights the sharp edges and bad textures in games like zelda, which were made for a smaller resolution (gamecube port). I bought this product on the Sunday evening and it arrived on Tuesday. Fast despatch time - great seller. There are no instructions and it didnt come in a box, so make sure you know what your buying and how to plug it in - it couldn't be simpler, just change the settings on the wii menu to 480p (HD setting). I love this product, the colours and detail of the games are greatly improved. I think the quality went from just better than a PS2 to Xbox (not 360) quality. Its easy to set up - just match up the colours of the plugs to the component sockets in the back of you TV.
