I bought the card for my Olympus E-510 to be able to shot panorama shots. It is much slower that the CF Sandisk extreme III so I am really thinking that did not worth the money. Otherwise the card is ok, the price is fair. My advice is, if you have a camera with CD+xD do not bother to buy the xD card.

a great piece of kit works very well and its small size means it can be carried easily in one pocket. The small black cover for the microphone does in fact fall off, but a small rubber band holds it on well. In any event it is only useful out side in windy conditons.

Love this product! Delivery was very prompt. Received within a couple of days of ordering. Compact design without too many complicated buttons to play with. Very easy to set up and use. Got mine done in less than five minutes! Not bad for a middle aged guy! Instructions were very easy to follow. Once I'd put my glasses on! The range of the internal mic is suprisingly good. I could pick up people talking normally from 5 or 6 metres away! All that you would want from this kind of product and at a very reasonable price. I'd recommend this item to anyone looking for simplicity and value for money.

I bought this item as an aid to learning to play the button accordion. The tutor plays the tune and I can go home and practice, slowing down the music as necessary. Beats recording on my mobile any day. I have been to traditional music sessions and used it to record tunes which I downloaded to my PC then onto CD and gave to a lady who wanted to learn the tunes. It was so light I could carry in in my shirt pocket and with a bit of practice I could turn record on and off with no difficulty without removing it. I took it to a concert recently and sat at the front (having first obtained the permission of the virtuosos about to play. My Olympus SP-550uz needs xD type H cards (rather than the slower type M cards) to enable its SHQ 30fps video mode for longer than 15 seconds. But, type H cards are no longer available. This new Olympus type M+ xD card (from Flash Memory) seems to enable the SHQ 30fps mode in my camera OK. Max. recording time for a 2GB M+ xD card in SHQ mode is about 19 minutes.

Appears fine at first, but the controls have a very annoying fault - fast forwarding or rewinding is done with the same buttons that jump to another file either forward or backward, and it's very easy to accidentally jump to the end of a recording - very irritating when you're 20 minutes in to a 90 minute interview. I agree with the other comments re: Digital Wave Player - it's a pain, and life would be far simpler if the recorder could be plugged into any PC and seen as an external hard drive from which to drag and drop audio files. Worse still, my VN-2100PC has now packed up altogether. It won't transfer files via DWP without an error message popping up halfway through the process, and it dies without warning even on fresh batteries. Useless.

We bought a pair of these cameras for our office to replace our previous site cameras which were getting broken and unreliable. As you can imagine, they have a fairly rough time of it, being used by different staff, on building sites, in all weather, five days a week. We've had them for several months and the only thing that has happened is some slight scratching of the front panel. Picture quality is very good and the menus are easy to use. You don't get a memory card included, but it is probably better to buy your own decent sized one than have a free-but-useless one thrown in which pushes up the price. Recommended.

I bought this as a study help - I'm doing a Medical Administration course and use the VN2100 for medical terminology. Love: Its handy size, clear and easy to use, storage space, 5 folder divisions, add-on mic. Great price too. Perfect for my needs, couldn't ask for more!
