For those of you wondering if you can justify spending £400+ on a projector, it's worth it, I shop on Amazon all the time but this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a review. It arrived the day after I ordered, which was a great start. I now have it hooked up to my computer as I'm typing this as well as a PS3. Watching movies, playing computer games, TV - It all looks great. Im not using a screen yet, I'm just projecting it onto a light beige wall and it still looks crisp, clear and smooth. Also I would like to make it clear that setting this thing up is a breeze, you do not need the manual they give you. But even that is well written and very, very helpful. Overall. Ace product. looked at loads of projectors, but the simplicity here was the winner. Point at wall, plug in, insert DVD, press play...........magic. At 6ft distance, got a decent sized picture, bigger than a LCD at double the price, quality was excellent and the room was in normal daylight hours. First film, Star Wars, like being back in the pictures all those years ago, and not a crisp packet in sight............heaven. Sound is great for such a small unit, fills the room with ease. Easy to store and with the included case, it walks round to my mates for the footie off his Sky. Cant find anything bad to say about it.

This is the first projector I have ever purchased so I have not been able to compare to another model. However if you are looking to purchase your first projector I can highly recommend the Optoma HD65. Within 5 minutes of getting it out of the box it was up and running after simply connecting a HDMI cable and power lead to the back. The controls are simple and its possible to focus the image and zoom to your desired size in less than 20 seconds! I have it running at about 90" to 100" inches depending on what im watching and the image is truly breathtaking!! My Xbox 360 looks fantastic. We have the DV10 hooked up to a Surround sound system and this makes films like a cinema! Much better than watching on a conventional TV! I had never really got into gaming before, but now I am hooked on my nieces Xbox. When I play pro Evo the players are almost 3 foot tall so it is like you are in the screen! Plus watching sport on the unit is the icing on the cake! I strongly suggest this product when you have friends over, it produces a fantastic atmosphere!
