I am really pleased with this little camera. Before this I had a crappy and cheap Vivitar 4MP plastic brick, and now I have what I judge to be a much better quality (and sleeker!) model for a fraction of the price of other 10MP cameras. The picture quality is excellent if all you want is a point and shoot camera. I recently went on holiday to Canada and was overjoyed with the pictures I have had developed since coming back. The colours are vibrant and the image pin-point sharp. The digital zoom is brilliant, meaning that I have managed to capture images I never would have been able to on my old camera. Pentax or Samsung versions. I have a Pentax version on a Samsung GX20. Mine is very sharp wide open. It equals or betters the Canon 17-40 f4 but at less than half the price. Images are undistorted with good colour. CA is a rare event and the bokeh is buttery. It has full time manual focus too. One of the best value lenses around - for any mount. As with any lens, you might need to try a few copies to get a good one. Sadly, lens manufacturers seem uninterested in decent QC.
