This is a great tuner, especially for beginners. Simple enough, you play the note, and it tells you wherever it is too flat or too sharp however, sometimes (especially on the b string) you hit a string and it says a completely different one :\| and, it is quite weak. if it gets dropped enough it will break and stop working, so its not recoomended if you have butterfingers like me :)

If you're trying to tune an acoustic instrument then don't go for this tuner! Even with new batteries, a quiet room, and the tuner perched as close as possible to the soundhole, the display is frisky and indecisive with the LCD "needle" jumping from flat to sharp on a whim. Got far better results using a tuning fork on the "E" and then tuning by ear on open strings and using harmonics. Horrible bit of kit !
