This is a very large , heavy duty laminator which takes up considerable desk space. The first point is that the variable heat setting is both a blessing and a curse. I've laminated several items so far and got awful results but as I've reduced the temperature its got much much better. I've seen bad results from previous laminators with only a single heat setting and now I know why - too hot. So I think you'll need to do lots of experiments before you get great results. I may grow to love this feature. The second point is that there is a nasty ridge that forms at high temperature on the topside laminate surface - obvious answer is to feed the pouch and picture in face down.
