I purchased this for my K750i and at first it was good but now when i try and take it out of my phone the case has split and when i insert it in my adaptor in the computer, the computer crashes - i also have a psp, which has a sony memory card which is yet to fall apart and the computer still functions when inserted

If you are tired of having cables all around your desk especially if you use a laptop, and even more a Mac laptop, wants a fast way to transfer your pictures from you memory cards from your camera/camcorder and wants a clean space to work on due to not having cables collecting dust, this product is what I recommend to you. The ExpressCard slot on my MacBook Pro has been there, all alone with no use at all, until I realized that I could put an end to the messy cables on my desk by taking away the unnecessary ones and using adapters like this one to get photos from my camera and with the added plus of higher speed transfers. I'd have liked it in black but could only find white... and I'd have liked to have been provided with a second cap, one to cover the MSPD card and the other for over the USB connector. Part from that it is a great reader/writer and recommended if, like me, you hate using the cables that came with your camera. Thanks Amazon!

This is an SDHC card not a plain SD so check your device is compatible. That said it works well in my Treo 680 palm smart phone and means I don't have to carry round a separate USB memory stick! Seems robust enough and the little led in USB mode is a nice touch (so you know its in the right way round). Highly recommended after a few months use!

I had been using a generic card reader to write to my Kingston SD card and was having some problems with writing files -- often the process would fail halfway through for no apparent reason. Therefore I bought this card reader as a replacement and I can report that I now have no such problems. There's not much else to say about this card reader -- it is plug and play so works for me on Windows and Linux (the Windows software supplied with the reader is an optional extra if you want customised icons in Windows Explorer for different card types). I have only got one card that isn't SanDisk and that is only because it came with a card reader I bought years ago. I was told to use this make years ago by someone who worked with this type of product on a daily basis and I have never been let down. They can be read from and written to really quickly and seem to last and last.
