Really solidly build, with the normal U3 startup / program management system. Personally I like U3, but it's easy to remove if you don't (or prefer an alternative like "Portable Apps"). I did find that on one occasion when I pulled it out after the PC had hung that it had completely corrupted...a nasty state of affairs that required me to buy data recovery software (the software is very expensive, despite being from the manufacturer!!). It could be that this is down to Vista , but at least you would expect free recovery software - it never happened on my 2GB U3 Kingston in over 3 years! I bought this in February. Was proper pleased with it. The size, build quality, sound (once you turned the setting up), ease of use were all fantastic. I used my choice of media player, Winamp, to update the player. It was a breeze. I'd put some new Pitchfork recommended indie on it in the evening and rock (see gently sway) it on the bus to and from work. Sometime's I'd even sneak a listen in work if the boss was away!! Anyway the battery life was great. No problem at all. I owned a nano for 3 years and this was just as good - a little more hassle to navigate but definitely not £70 worth of hassle! The hard case is a brilliant accessory for the MP3 player,it gives excellent protection for travelling.The leather case looks, and is, very classy & gives a limited amount of protection for normal use.The lanyard is useful for holding the hard case,or the leather case,the soft cloth is a bit of an extra that is not really needed, likewise the plastic stick-on screen protector.The protection given by the hard case & the leather case alone, make this accessory well worth the money.

I have the 8MB Sansa View that I bought to replace my ageing 4GB iPOD. For music its great. It has one major drawback and that is the software that you need from Sandisk to convert pictures and videos to the specific format for the player. The software (Sansa Media Converter) stops Windows Media Center (Vista) from working. Sansa do not know if it is a clash with WMC or some types of TV card. Anyways, to be able to watch TV again I have to uninstall the Sansa software. If I want to download photos or videos then I have to reinstall the Sansa software. This is a known problem according to Sandisk but they have done nothing to find a solution. In fact, everytime i raise a support case for it, they say ... Read More:

shipping is really fast for a free saver delivery, though it does'nt mention any specs properly it is really a genuine and ultra 2 magic gate pro duo card. a bit costly but really worth buying and cheaper than many other stores. it is 15 mb/s speed 100x read and write so just works like the speed of an harddisk,what else do we expect,I really recommend.

My son (11) uses this Sansa e280 mostly for MP3s rather than video or radio (although he has few Goodies episodes loaded up and a selection of photos). The MP3/WMA music sound quality of the player is good, although we have upgraded the supplied in ear headphones to £20 over-ear Sennheiser headphones. You can expand the players 8Gb memory via a micro SD slot. Our 2Gb mSD expansion card works fine, and apparently a 1Gb card also works well, but it's possible the player won't recognise larger mSD sizes (e.g. 4Gb) - and only [MP3] music files can run from this SD card slot. The internal Li-ion battery is user replaceable and lasts ages between charges - well over ten hours and probably about 15 hours at the moment (7 months on). I can't comment on the analog radio ...
