Tut tut, I didn't get it from Amazon (they didn't have any at the time). That said, this little thing is brilliant. Easy to use BUT - if you (need or) wear glasses make sure you're wearing them before putting it in your (in my case Nokia 6301) phone. If it springs out you'll be lucky to find it! This technology is mind-boggling. So much capacity in such a tiny card, and this isn't anywhere near the largest GB storage available on one of these. My phone can only handle 2GB, or so I'm told, otherwise I'd have gone for even more storage. It's so cheap it's mad NOT to.

There is a reason this memory card is so cheap; it's a fake SanDisk. That's not to say it's a bad product, I've used mine so far and it was up to speed and was the correct size but search google and you'll see that fake cards are generally less stable and reliable. I've yet to see how this does in the long term. Would have been nice to know it was a fake before I ordered it.

I as thriled with this little MP3 Player at first. However after a few months it's playing up. Some tracks are stuck on it...I wiped all tracks from the player to add new ones and found some of the old ones are still on it. But they don't show up in windows media player when I synch the device. If you load alot of tracks at once it will take a long time to rebuild the library. Sometimes it powers off halfway through. When you switch back on it constantly says 'rebuilding library' then powers off like a never ending cycle. Also the battery life went down quickly if you use the forward & back buttons. Very good product for my Sony digital camera. Have never had any issues with Sandisk memory cards and im sure I have read they have faster access times than Sony. Make sure you buy from a reputable seller as there are a lot of fakes going around which is why you see the stupidly cheap prices for these cards and similar. This applies to Sandisk and Sony at present, it is very hard for the everyday person to know the difference physically. The safest way is to pay the price that these cards generally go for which is about £25 (as at Sept 07) from a reputable seller. This way you have more chance of reliabilty and future warranty issues should they be required.

I got one of these and couldn't get it to work out of the box with my Sansa. You need to upgrade the player firmware to be compatible with this and other accessories using the software updater available from the Sandisk website. Otherwise works fine although you are a bit limited in what you can control. Limited to power, volume and skip track. Great for turning the Sansa into a portable jukebox for parties when you want non stop music. Nicely made and finished.
