The first time I plugged into my computer (running XP) launchpad worked perfectly, and I thought I had found the best product of the year. I happily bought and loaded on some new U3 software. One week later, having used it in a couple of work computers, I plug it back into my laptop only to find that the Launchpad (the indispensible platform for running the software on the flashdisk) utterly failed to initialise properly, hanging once it got as far as the icon in my tray. All that money on those programs wasted.... The technology is promising but from what I can gather, U3 is still VERY unreliable, and one cannot uninstall and reinstall so if it fails, that's it folks. I've got this plugged into my Olympus SP-510UZ where it's provided decent reliable storage for high-quality photos and videos. I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives available, my philosophy is that if you've paid hundreds for a camera or similar device, why skimp on the bit that's meant to store it all?

It does what it says on the label and is fast. BUT why £4-50 postage for something which weighs less than 100 grams and can be posted by 1st class mail? Amazon should be selling these alongside the cameras it loves to sell for zero postage; not leaving customers to buy from an independent with extra postage charges.

I've had this player now for a week. I have owned one other mp3 player but play music through many different devices, like computer and xbox and garmin gps (plays music as superb hi fidelity mp3 player). Now the the sound on this little device is amazing! No matter what mp3 you have, it will sound great. You can adjust the audio perfectly to your taste using the EQ but out the box the sound at factory default setttings is second to none. Design and build make this feel like you are holding a tablet that will last a thousand years in your palm. For me the headphone jack is extremely sturdy so far - it grips the jack very tighly and is the best one i've had - so many other devices i have returned for the can't hear sound in one side of ...
