I bought this SanDisk mp3 player because I had a different model from SanDisk a couple of years ago and it was virtually bombproof. This one is a real disappointment. The build quality seems poor - it feels very inferior to a Samsung device I had (and lost) prior to this. The navigation is also often counterintuitive. Avoid, as there are better players for this money.

Fair play to the guys at San Disk as the 256Mb card holds about 24 average length MP3's as well as about 30 minutes of video and multiple photos. By the way if you are looking for a memory card of this type, go for the larger 256 card, it's not that much more expensive and you can do more with it. My only gripe is simply that it is so small. Those of us with larger than average fingers may find it a bit of a bother to get it into the slot in the phone, I especially had problems at the start of using it getting it into my Motorola E1000 actually breaking the piece of metal that holds the card in place in one instance though luckily it ... I'm not really too 'up' with computers but I have found this little gadget easy to use and one thing that I really like about it is that it is password secured. I am now able to do things for work at home, load them on to this and transfer to the PC at work. Magic!

This is a really solid little MP3 player. It holds a decent amount of songs and since your PC will treat it as if it were a portable hard drive all you need to do is click and drag files back and forward between your music folder and the MP3's folder to make transfers which is extremely convenient. The sound quality is pretty decent on the headphones provided but I found that they wore out in one ear after about six months and would highly recommend a pair of 'Sony MDR-E818LP Acoustic Twin Turbo Headphones' if this happens to you since the quality is fantastic and you can pick them up pretty cheaply.
