Great for about a year, but then stops working most of the time. Comes up as unformatted or not at all. I think it's wear and tear on the connections. Today it took me more than 20 goes to get an XP machine to recognise it.

I bought it from Sony directly. Am satisfied with its performance and it's good price as well for a sony laptop. The only downside is that it dosen't have any external (hardware) volume control, which i believe is essential for every lapton. Nevermind.

Having read the reviews I bought these thinking Sony should be fine. I found these have been brilliant. Clear sound, of course they click a little if you are miles away but overall best value for the money.

I bought this last week to keep my son amused during a holiday and have been thoroughly delighted with my purchase. Having viewed several portable players in high street shops in order to guage quality, i did take a gamble on the evidence of the previous reviews not having seen the picture quality in person and have been very please that i did. This is an outstanding piece of kit.

I'm no earphone expert, but after reading a few reviews I bought these (my other Sony's stopped working (MDR-E818LP)). They came with the M size rubber buds fitted but they didnt fit me as they were too big, I tried the S size and they fit perfectly. These are my first 'in-ear' earphones so I was very pleased. Had a listen to a few songs and they sounded like comepletely new songs, with loads of bass and other little sounds that I'd never heard before in the songs. VERY happy with them. My only gripe is that it has an asymmetrical cord, which I hate but I can live with it for now seeing as how the quality is very good.

I used these tapes in my new Canon HV30 to record my new granddaughter and the results are fantastic. I could never go back to standard minDVs after seeing the brilliant results. So much more details, even when blown up on a 50 inch HD TV screen. Plus the seller on Amazon.co.uk of the 5 HD miniDV pack was the best price I could find on the internet. Excellent product - you will never use anything else but HD tapes when you watch the playback.

Well its been quite a while since I "treated" myself to an ipod at Christmas and had to send it back due to unacceptable sound quality. Took the plunge with the Sony walkman 16gb version of this without Bluetooth yesterday and I have to say the difference in sound quality is quite remarkable. I have been ripping using windows media player 11 (128 bit rate windows media) and it is really excellent. I did think when I got the ipod it was sexy but they had skimped somewhere and it was not just on the headphones. With the Walkman the first thing that I noticed was the openness and natural midrange without hint of distortion found on the ipod. the top end was also a lot cleaner and songs retain a fantastic sense of drive and realism due to the ...
