This device knocks everything out of the current gen ipods. We have to consider it as on par with the likes of the ipod for being the best multimedia players out there today. I bought this Sony Walkman after 5 years of being entertained by the Sony NW-a1000 which i have to say is fab as well in terms of looks and sound. It was only recently that i decided to purchase the new Walkman player in hope of putting more songs and as well photos and vids. After lots of research I settled on the SR55. The reasons for this were 1. Sony products are normally good quality. 2. 40gb hard drive meant I didn't have to carry lots of DVDs as with other camcorders. 3. Small size meaning easy to carry round on holiday. 4. Not overly priced. What I have found about this camcorder so far is that it is very easy to set up and use. A novice could easily pick this up and be fully conversant within an hour. The docking station is very effective when connecting to a PC and/or TV. I personally have the station attached to my TV and PC together meaning I can connect to either one at the touch of a button. I also bought 2 of ebay (fakes) and have spoken to many who have bought them from market places etc. In the case of the 16gb memory stick you get what you pay for. I finally bought one from amazon and its the real deal, don't waste your time or money searching for the deal there is way to many fakes about. Its worth the money if your into movies and music for your psp or camera etc just be worned there is tons of fakes about.

Having read the reviews I bought these thinking Sony should be fine. I found these have been brilliant. Clear sound, of course they click a little if you are miles away but overall best value for the money.

After Panasonic LCD failed bought this TV as a Which Best Buy and after reading reviews. Ordered at 9pm on Thursday evening, delivered at 7.30am Saturday for less than £8 extra for delivery. Quality of picture and sound is outstanding. Stylish slim case sits well on cupboard in kitchen and does not dominate the room. My last Sony Trinitron TV was still going strong after 20 years. This one looks as though it might do the same!

If on a budget this is a must have lens for your dslr. It will pretty much set you up for any shot due to its 70-300mm (105-450mm 35mm equivalent) but obviously if you can stretch your budget, do so. I had this lens some years ago, had to sell to pay for something else. and im looking at buying a new one again, its that good. to sum up for a smidge over £100 its a great lens

I bought this product on the basis it was multi-regional. It was not, and if someone tells you to take it to your local Sony Shop and they will do it for you, they will, but for £50. Not Happy!

I did a fair bit of research before settling on this Sony. I was originally interested in the 7" model, but it is worth going for the extra size to get a better picture. The quality is outstanding - very sharp even with 80s TV programmes on DVD. The colours are punchy and crisp and overall I am very impressed with the visuals. Althought it is region 2, it plays my region 4 DVDs fine, but cannot play Region 1 NTSC disks. Two earphone jacks is great so you can watch a movie on a plane or train with others. The detachable battery is slim and means when using the unit through the plug without a battery, it is nice and slimline. I think it is better than any of the Phillips, Toshiba and other models I viewed.
