Bought this for my Canon Speedlite 430ex Mk2 and it fits perfectly and works as expected, creating more of a light fill than harsh direct light. The Paperwork with it states it reduces the Canon's indicated maximum distance by a factor of 2.5. Not sure if this is the case but I won't argue. It also states never use it in the normal straight ahead position except in TTL Mode. It states for best results use at 45 degress, as it's designed as a flash bounce I suppose most of us would know this already. One final thing, I store mine on my flash, it is just a little too large (long) to fasten up in the case provided but the case is wide enough, but I can live wih that as it also affords protection to the Flash Lens. Most photos look crap when taken with direct flash. This item softens the light and helps make simple flash look better. Its never going to be a perfect shot, but seriously this thing should be supplied with all flashes and be a permanent fixture. Direct flash is annoying, ugly and not at all flattering.
