This product was a complete and utter waste of £100.00 as far as I am concerned. It is basically a webcam in a weatherproof aluminium case. The resolution is diabolical and focusing is virtually impossible over a distance of more than 2 metres. The manufacturer's claims that it provides excellent night vision are extremely far-fetched (even when used in conjunction with a 500 watt pir activated floodlamp), as are the claims that transmission can be effective up to 100 metres - it doesn't even cope with a distance of 3 metres from the base unit without the picture continuously breaking up or the experience of complete signal loss - even when used with the Swann PC based video surveillance card which Amazon supplied (this product, ... i bought this item for security purposes and has been great the whole time ive had it.wunderfull little device to keep an eye on whos at the door....so if u dont want to answer it you know who it was etc i wasnt to sure what the qulaity was goin to be like but i took a stab at it and i was very suprised the picture is sooo clear and has a good range on it.

i bought this item for security purposes and has been great the whole time ive had it.wunderfull little device to keep an eye on whos at the door....so if u dont want to answer it you know who it was etc i wasnt to sure what the qulaity was goin to be like but i took a stab at it and i was very suprised the picture is sooo clear and has a good range on it.
