I was a bit apprehensive reading previous reviews of this but I bought one anyway! Well the first think is that it has a reset button! so if you mess the config up you can always start from scratch. Had a bit of an issues initially but set it to DHCP and the port should be there, then remove the ethernet and it should connect to your W'LAN ok. No problems with it so far -web site is useful too for latest sw downloads

I brought this item as it was so cheep compared to others of the same type on sale. I was a bit unsure about buying this as I have never heard of Sweex before, but I went ahead anyway .... And im glad I did. Simple and easy instructions to follow and I had my network up and running in about 10 minutes. Comes with an onboard modem as well so all you have to do is plug it into the phone line attach your computers (using rj45 cat 5 cable (up to 4 pc's) or wireless) and away you go. There are only a few options you need to set which are all explained in the manual. Overall I am very happy with this item, well done Sweex, and Amazon for the fast delivery as normal. Like other reviewers here I found this cam just won't work - on Messenger, Skype, anything. There is no advice about why, and the manual has been written by a dalek. Sound yes, picture no. Maybe it cuts out below certain levels of ugliness. I am quite ugly. Bit more importantly, pissed off.
