I ordered this item yesterday eveing, and it arrived this morning! I guess that's more to do with the supplier, rather than the product itself. I have not used it all that long, but as far as I can see there are no defects with the card. What I'd really like to say is to those idiots complaining about postage. It said in the letter that came with the card: "Please note postage £4.50 for each item is fixed by Amazon under Electronics & Photo category and can not be changed, total prices have been justified" So please stfu and leave your complaints about the postage somewhere else, because this is not the fault of the supplier or the manufacturer. I could not believe it 8 gig's from under 20 notes (inclusive of P&P). Plugged it into my EEE PC 701, and all works great. I was a little concerned that what Class 6 - SDHC thingy was, and whether my EEE PC was HC compatible, so I took the chance and purchased it, and plugged it in and hay presto it works. Once it was up and running I opened up the properties on that drive and it showed 7.48 gig remaining, so I don't now where the other ½ a gig went, if you find it please let me know? Apart from that, there is not much you can say about a SD card, it loads, it stores, it plays back, and you remove it when finished. IT WORKS (great hay!)

I have tested the card to check that it is compatible with my Nikon D60 and it works fine. Haven't used it in anger yet so can't comment on the speed. The card came without a little plastic case. This may sound trivial, but I intend to keep the pictures on the card indefinitely, using the card as the ultimate backup store. A case is necessary for this. It protects the card from damage and dirt. Also, putting a label on the card (for example, to say what dates the pictures on it are from) will stop it from going into most card readers - it it certainly won't go into my camera with a label. So Transcend, nice card for a good price but it needs a 10p (at most) case, and until you do that, I'll have to buy someone else's ... Read More:

Even though there are supposedly no standard 4GB cards that aren't SDHC, this is one exception that I am certainly glad to have discovered. I have been using this SD card for my TomTom One XL for about 7 months now and it is has been great. I now have all the following maps on one SD card: Western Europe, UK & Ireland, USA & Canada, Eastern Europe, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan. When you get to your destination, you can switch maps without ever having to keep switching between cards which makes my TomTom device a truly global one.
