I feel it is necessary to leave a review to say that the product is well worth the money. Having read previous reviews, I was unsure as to bother buying or not - but as alterantive solutions were so expensive I though it was well woth giving it a shot. If you are reasonably technical, you shouldn't have any problems installing the software , although as previously stated some of the stuff is in French. There is enough English instructions to successfully install and connect. Once setup you de need to tweak the options to get a good picture (i.e. video format) but it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.. then you're good to go. I've been looking for something like this for quite a while now, to get some use out of an old 19" LCD monitor. I ordered it yesterday, and it was here by lunchtime! On opening the box, I was a little bit dissappointed to find that, at least with mine, it was packaged for the French market - the only instruction sheet was entirely in French, and it had a continental plug on the transformer. A UK adaptor was supplied with it, but it's very ugly-looking and flimsy with the transformer plugged into it. If it's going to be anywhere where it could get knocked, even slightly, it IS going to break... Since there weren't any instructions (that I could read!) I had to just find my own way through the menu - it wasn't too complicated, ... Read More:
