At less than a fiver, this is a great solution to getting music from your MP3 player to your car stereo. My car stereo will play CD-R's but not MP3's. This solved the problem. It works with both my Ipod touch and Archos Gmini. The sound quality is not as good as radio or CD, but for the price, I am not complaining. Since buying this, I can see there are similar products that are actually stand alone MP3 players with their own remotes. I will probably invest in one of those gadgets now, which will prevent me from leaving my more expensive MP3 players lying about in my car.

I found the PCI card very easy to install despite never opening my computer up before. Switch off PC; open the case; remove blanking plate from back of PC; slide in PCI board; close case and turn on. Kingnet seem to have responded to previous feedback and there is now just 1 driver minature CD-rom and a full size instruction CD-rom (which I didn't read in all honesty). The only minor problem I encountered was that the driver apparently doesn't have a 'Microsoft digital signature' - I loaded it anyway and my computer hasn't exploded so it can't be that important. As with other reviewers I have no problems connecting or losing signal, a problem that seems to effect some of the named brands on the market.

Given the low price, I wasn't expecting much and was very pleased to discover that the adapter was very easy to use and provides excellent sound quality. I would highly recommend this gadget!

For about £30 I expected little of this item, but it's outclassed my expectations by far. The item is a lot smaller than I expected from the images, and the menu system is a lot more intuitive. There is absolutely no lag when playing games through it (which was my main fear when buying it), although it was only in black and white to begin with, the manual wasn't in a badly translated form of broken English, and it was very easy to set it to a PAL signal from NTSC which it defaulted to. The video signal when gaming is very clear when using the phono cable, far better than my previous method of using S-Video. The range of resolutions was impressive, and it makes old consoles look fantastic on a 1280x1024 LCD display. Read More:

Great price - the software sucks though. Resorted to using a download from the web (google for chris tv) which works well with it. There really isn't any information in the box so you have to work it out yourself, but this isn't that complicated. Far cheaper than buying a second TV for the spare room though. If I was too have my time (and money) again, I might well go for a more expensive card that covers Digital Freeview TV as the choice is limited.
