This item is cheap. The remote works fine and the sound and volume are good enough for a small device. However it would not charge my ipod although the ipod indicated that it was charging. After 3 weeks it stopped working altogether. It may have just been the one I bought but I guess you get what you pay for. Just splash out a bit more for one more likely to work.

Overall, this is a great speaker system. They produce quality sound for its size, midtones are good. it can work with my ipod nano 3G and ipod video.

It was never gonna be the same quality as a hifi speaker, not by far, but this product is easy to use, good quality and fun. Bit of trouble with the remote, sometimes when you push up on the volume it will go to full, the volume controls on the actual speaker work fine, and it will only remotely control an ipod. I am having trouble figuring out if the recharge function works on the ipod, never tells me when its full just flashes the recharge sign, but for a nokia and sony ericsson it recharges brilliantly. Doesn't drain the battery on any of the devices, which is good and proper. Not a top notch item but i good one and one i would recommend.
