Top notch build quality, good ergonomics and great picture. This is first and for-most a no-nonsense work monitor from viewsonics professional VG range. Yes it has speakers, but you won't want to use them for anything musical. No usb ports, no headphone jack, no phono in, no hdmc, no sub-woofer, no i-pod docking, etc etc. Just a b***dy good panel on a solid and very adjustable mounting (including the all important height adjustment). This is certainly not a multimedia flash panel with a piano black bezel or brushed stainless knobs. After 4 months ownership I felt I should leave a review of this monitor.First impressions of the VX2245wm are good and this continues when you see the picture quality which is outstanding. It is a well built monitor which oozes quality. Why only 4 stars then? It does have 2 or 3 shortcomings, firstly, 2 power packs are required which adds to the clutter of wiring needed.
