I have been using computers every day for the last ten years for work/personal use and while I am no computer expert, I found the software on this drive was so difficult to use. Last night I tried tranferring all my music and photos onto the hard drive. I am used to using simple hard drives that have drag and drop functions, however you could not do this with the WD passport drive. There are no instructions on how to use the software for the drive and I spent over an hour synchronising my C drive (thinking that it was copying the files over) and when it had completed it had not worked - it said the C drive had not even been synchronised. I've had about 3 WD external Hard Drives.. and they all either fail after a few months or some just fail to work alogether unless plugged into a power supplied USB hub. The WD customer support is extremely poor, they provide no feedback and just send out a template letter. Really wouldnt buy from them again.
