I bought this drive to backup my important documents and photos, it was easy to set up and at first it worked well, as a network storage device and as a network print server. It did make more noise than I had expected it to make. After a while, it started to require a reboot in order to mount the drive, which was a little annoying. I never thought much about it until I switched it on one morning and it was totally unaccesible from any of my PC's. The drive light pulsed continually Amber/Blue and regardless of what I tried my data was unavailable. I contacted Western Digital who replied with one of their automated emails saying that they hoped to get back to me within a 24 hours but on occasions it may take a little longer.
