OK so there are a few issues with the Archos 605 wifi. But I still LOVE IT! I bought the 4GB one - why? Cos: 1) it was cheap (PC World were selling them off cheap at £80!) 2) It is 150g rather than 259g for the 160GB version and it is also slimmer to fit into your pocket 3) It's as expandable as you want - I've got half a dozen 16GB SD cards already and I can have as many as I like. The others (as far as I know don't have an expansion card slot) 4) Hard Drive units are susceptible to damage if you drop/jolt them. This one isn't. Ok, my nan bought this for me christmas 2006, i loved it... the touch screen, easy to use software, the colour screen, all for me.....i wanted something different from an ipod as everyone has them.... downside, its 18 months later and it freezes A LOT..... i cannot scroll up an down so i find myself listenin to the same old songs in my unknown artists section and it says its on hold when its not..... it was good whilst it lasted but im on here lookin for a new mp3 player.....
