I just got this music player today, a day late. So far it seems to be working fine. The buttons are noisy and stiff to use. I did get a charger and earphones for it.I was dissapointed by the instructions which are hard to understand, because its very bad english, however I managed to figure out how to use it by myself. The speaker is good.there is a variety of games on it but no instructions on how to play them. I have not tried video yet. the radio is not very good and doesn't seem to pick up any stations. All in all what can you expect for such a cheap music player? I didn't think it would be perfect.It works.I don't have high hopes of watching films on it somehow.

This is a mighty fine little piece of kit, it looks and more importantly, sounds great and has a great battery life, but beware. It can only be charged up via a usb cable from your pc or laptop. this is fine if your using it too and from work or something similar, but if your planning on travelling abroad with it then you will need to pack your laptop (i'm sure your partner would love that) or spend some time at an internet cafe with it plugged in (your partner probably leaves you at this point). Apparently there is a mains charger available for it, but after much searching I gave up trying to source one.

I'm going to compare this player to the ipod touch which is what I had considered buying until I saw the price tag and compared the two models. This player is great overall. I initially bought it just as an mp3 player but after seeing how amazing the screen quality was, I've been using it to watch movies during my lunch breaks at work. The quality of the screen beats most mp3 players hands down even if it may be smaller than some that are out there; and this includes the ipod touch as the zen's screen has a better colour display (zen 16.7 million colours vs ipod touch's 64 thousand colours).
