I have been looking for a viable alternative to an iPod for a while as i didn't want to become a sheep and follow the itoilet trend, however before i found this player i was discouraged by other mp3 players with their reported breakages by other users and lack of good looks. Enter the Sony NWA806FW ok to start with this is a tiny player, was amazed at how small it was when i took it out of the box. its lighter than your iPod nano and is about the same size as its taller but the iPod is wider. Great little player and fantastic for the first few months - although volume is a bit low. Didn't use it that often then today charged it up and it wouldn't start after. A dead MP3 is useless so don't expect this to last for too long at all.

This is my 1st MP3 player and it is easy to use, small and stylish without feeling too delicate. Sound quality is very good, headphones are fine. Matt black casing can mark easily, but not a big problem. Very happy with is so far.

After reading the conflicting reviews I decided to give it a go, hoping I would be among those who love it. I did love it, until it died exactly a week of me getting it. It seems many people have had had the same problem. I can only say I'm thankful I can return it to Amazon rather than go through the hassle of the warranty. I'm not even bothering with an exchange, I'm going for the full refund.
