In the last year I have owned 3 - yes 3 Rio Carbons. The first one I recieved was for chirstmas 2005 and I have to say, back then it looked pretty awesome. The style, the shape, perfect for slotting conveniently into your pocket and compared to other mp3's going around that time the Rio carbon looked best deal and value for money, and on the bonus it looked 'interesting' and 'unique' with the white againt a silver plated back & little sign which glowed orange when it was turned on, it was the epitome of cute with the smooth white face..angelic! so i was really geared up and had my expectations high on this. Very happpy with this software - Its helped to mainstream the mp3 revolution. Only quibble I have is that I'm a PC user, and the software for Windows (iTunes) is a bit rubbish to set up) - I've had to reboot my ipod twice to get the software to work! I still give it 5 stars as I've got 6 gigs of music on my iPod, and I take it everywhere I go. The design is very sleek and easy to use, lightwieght and fits in my pocket easily - perfect!

No one to speak to. i-River took forever to answer multiple e-mails. Eventually sent off to I-river in Germany for repair. Sent back to me with a note saying `customer did not answer cost estimate. FUNNY!!!! I never received a single contact. Now going in the trash as a lost cause. Never will I Purchase I-River again.
