Lovely Camera but dissapointed with all photo's taken on night vision , lights seem to trail, so I would not by this camera again because of this.

Bought this camera 14 months ago from Amazon, was a great camera for an amateur like me, good quality photos and easy to use. Just taken it in to repair and have been told the exposure has gone, will be £120 to repair so its not worth doing. The guy in the shop also told me this was the third one in with the same problem in the last month or so....with only a one year guarantee was an expensive mistake.

I bought this camera 18 months ago, used it with varying success (the camera doesn't deal with light sources consistently, it occasionally takes a good photo but it's a question of luck). This week it developed a fault whereby the aperture clicks open and shut automatically as if trying to determine the light source, and any subsequent photo is a blank white screen. I contacted Canon support, and because the camera is now six months out of warranty it will cost upwards of 80 pounds to get fixed. I'm certainly not buying any Canon products again.

I ordered my Panasonic DMC-TZ2EB-S from Amazon but the item actually came through Pixmania.com. It's a great Camera with excellent features however the instruction manual for this item comes in bloody French and trying to get an English version is proving virtually impossible. Not very helpful...

That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Otherwise a fab wee budget camera. Easy to use (shame you couldn't have all the instructions printed but maybe I'm old fashioned?) but does what most people would need something like this to do. Okay so it doesn't have 101 modes like other more expensive makes/models, but then do you really need them? It has one mode where you can just change virtually every setting to suit your needs. So why be lazy. I like where the buttons are and it's easy to use. You don't have to be a genius to get to grips with this. It can also shoot in sepia and black and white which again maybe basic but I started on an aps about 8 years ago and such things weren't available then without losing a load of film! Apart ... Great quality pictures but try avided using digital zoom. All the modes are great. I researched it for hours and hours back in May and I am very satisfied with it.

I've owned a Powershot G6 camera for a couple of years. It's very easy to hold and use. It allows full manual control and is capable of high quality images. The LCD display swivels to almost any angle, which is very useful. I'm happy with the camera, but I find the shutter delay is long and the lens cap is awful, being incapable of staying on the camera.
