Pros of Fuji S602Z... 1. Quality of prints superb on higher quality (6M Fine, and above) setting for brilliant upto A4 print size,I have some magic family, wildlife and landscape pictures, but as usual do not try sending via web, eats up megabytes of storage. Just resize down with Works XP. 2. Quality of construction of camera fantastic, been dropped several times, once on concrete when wrist strap broke, but still 100% functioning. Extended lens has taken couple of side swipes that required "manual" re-aligning, but all still in full working order..impressive. 3. I am a very amateur photographer who has accumulated masses of photos over the years using 35mm SLRs. I decided to go down the digital SLR route after using a compact digital camera as I found I could learn and correct any errors very quickly and got to like to see my results straight away .... and to be able to delete the rubbish !. I "pushed the boat out" and bought the Nikon after doing several weeks of research and price-checking and to say that I am not dissapointed is an understatement. My only one critism is that the camera does not currently come with a data card included. I've had a nikon film camera for some years. The d50 is my first foray in to digital photography. I'm hooked. The image quality is superb. I bought a body only and have been able to use my existing lenses. My first major use of the camera was at my son's wedding. Day was good and photos excellent. I've now been bought a digtal photoframe. What a superb way of displaying a slideshow of a selection of the wedding photos. Easy to use, intuitive, auto modes excellent, image quality superb. With nikon build quality it should not let you down and will give you years of use. One of my best buys.

Have been using now since Oct 07, the a540 takes great pictures and is easy to use. The very first thing you will discover is the long recharge time after using the flash. The second thing is that high capacity rechargable batteries are a must (but thats true for all digital cameras). The large LCD has brought some admiring comments from friends and the camera is small enough to fit in my pocket. On the downside - I use a card reader to download images as the cover for the usb port looks a bit flimsy. - The selector button for play/picture dropped off whilst the camera was in my pocket. Didn't loose it thankfully but gave me a scare. All in all a nice little camera that all in the family love. Read More:
