At first I was dissapointed with the size of the camera, it's not the best looker in the world. But boy has it got some features _ I will be happy to use it in manual mode all the time so that I can adjust it for depth of field or low light just as I can on my old SLR and the thing is it it so simple to operate - that is after the intial set-up. I don't know why manufacturers have to use cute icons instead of words as you have to keep going to the manual (no book here it is in pdf format off a CD) so it is tedious, but once done to the settings you want it is then so easy to operate. If you don't want the advanced settings then the point and shoot auto features and handy dial for night shots, portraits and lanscape etc are ideal - at the end ... Read More:

Purchased this camera from Pixmania via Amazon Marketplace a week ago and so far I am very pleased with the product.It feels solidly built and well designed and people comment on its simplicity and good looks. An impressive 3 inch screen is superb for playing back stills and movies and is clear to use on sunny autumn days when framing a shot. The Konica Minolta styled non-protruding lens produces clear and sharp pictures with pleasing realistic colours. These lens are more convenient than those which stick out when you press the 'on' button.
