a lovely little camera with very easy set up and use,the picture quality is very good,however, please buy a good case to carry it in, as in less than a month of ownership the lcd screen cracked while in my back pocket rendering a nice camera to scrap BEWARE!

Upgrading from a compact point and shot and want to keep it simple? go fot it ! Want some more and thinking about get into photography more seriously ? Get yourself a DSRL (digital single lens reflex). Bought this camera for around £100 but I want to upgrade it already, the fact is that even if you use this camera in full manual ... well it isn't a SLR although very clever. I won't sell the camera away tho, my missus will make good use of it as sooo easy to use.

What an amazing little camera! Perhaps not the "smallest" compact camera out there's enough to play with to make up for it. The 3" screen is really nice, photos are clear and previewing them is even better (my previous camera had a 1" screen!) There are so many settings to tweak so any budding photgraphers can begin experimenting without lugging round an expensive SLR - a read of the manual is a good idea to get to know the camera but then your off'n'laughing. The 5x optical zoom is a useful feature, more than most others out there as too is the super macro setting. Recording a video(+ sound)is easy gives good results although you can't adjust the zoom whilst recording (a shame when given the 5x zoom). Onboard memory is a good start but recommend ... Read More:

Sony DSC-W200.CEH Digital Camera (12.1MP) 2.5'' LCD I bought this when it first came out I was drawn to it because of the full hd and the 12.1 megapixals and i have to say I love it and think it's a great camera outdoor shots a fantastic and close ups are amazing I just have problems with taking photos indoors auto mode is poor any I have no idea what setting would work best ( any help anyone!!!) I would highly reccomend this as a great buy just wish it came with better booklet on how to use it properly

I bought this camera with the intention of replacing my wonderful, but slow Nikon Coolpix 4500. Enlargements and pics at the far end of the zoom were beginning to look noticebly pixelated so I started to look for a similar twisting body camera with a higher megapixel capacity.... This is a cracking bit of kit. It is an ideal home movie camera for taking shots of the kids and other home movie type stuff such as holidays and days out. The quality of picture is fine for this type of stuff. It is really simple to use and you can even do basic editing on the camera itself (cutting and joining clips). It is really easy to view shots on your TV and to copy onto either video or DVD. You also get a 9MP still camera as well and it fits in your pocket as it is not much bigger than a large mobile phone!! I bought it to replace my broken Panasonic mini DV camcorder and for £160 I think it is a bargain. I am well pleased with it.

My 4 year old daughter had been wittering for a camera, we looked at the camera's aimed specifically at young children. Poor viewers, poor quality (Eg the Bratz one) and expensive for what they were. This camera is simple easy to use and our 4 year old mastered it with just a little help. This is better then any of the toy cameras out there, and to boot its actually a fully fledged camera. Strongly recommend. She loves it and uses it successfully all the time.
