Whilst this camera takes decent but not outstanding pics, beware of the sound quality if you're thinking of buying it to take video clips at gigs. Believe me, the poor quality of the sound will make your clips unuseable. If you can get the thing to focus in the low light setting of a gig, you'll get a decent picture, but that's it. If you can't get it to focus, you're left with a blur!(and yes, I have tried it with continuous auto focus on and off, and I've updated the firmware. So,it's ok if you just want a point and shoot for every day snapping, but otherwise forget it!

this camera is rubbish i bought it last week used it once and now it doesnt even turn on i have changed the batteries and inside where the batteries go on the bottom it says different than that of the top, the+ is on the left at the bottom and the then its on the right at the top why is this i thought i was buying a good camera until this started happening....

Bought this camera to use in school with 6 year olds. It is so easy to use and the photos are excellent. There is even a setting which rectifies shaky hands so now the children can photograph their own work with great results. All in all a great buy.

i bought this camera from Amazon on November last year. It works quite well but I am not totally pleased with 230£ I had paid for as you cant zoom when you record a video. with 12mp and some other stuffs but I can see this camera is not much better than the others which less pixel and less money. Anyhow, so far so good, the len works properly unlike other reviews

A great camera for £88, but this entry level W series camera does not have Sony's Super Steady Shot image stabilisation that you get in all the other W series cameras as you go up the range. If you go up to the W170 you get Intellegent Scene Recognition as well. The W110 is a good camera and certainly worth buying above the S series which have plastic body and only 3x zoom. The W110 has aluminium body and 4x zoom.

This camera is a strightforward, no-nonsense model for someone who wants a quality digital camera for holidays, special occasions etc. It's really easy to set up and the resolution is good too. So far, so good!

I just recieved mine today and first impressions is that it is an attractive camera. The pictures are clear. But the camera itself is quite difficult to use as theres so many functions. Not having a black and white setting is a bit of a let down but you can easily download picasa 2 on google n edit your images on there. Its small enough to fit in your pocket or bag and is great for taking pictures with your friends. i suggest buying a 2GB memory card for it as they are so cheap now. Its a really good buy and an excellent value for money, when i told everyone how cheap it wsa they were astonished.
