Without a doubt the worst camera I have ever owned. It's been back to Nikon three times now and every time it is returned with additional faults. Nikon made good 35mm cameras but don't appear to have cracked the digital market.

Have been using this little gem for 2 months now and am very happy with the results it produces. It has an easy to use menu and not too many buttons and dials to get used to. I bought this as carry round camera as it is small enough to fit into a pocket and will always be at hand. It has an "intelligent ISO" function where you can set the max ISO at 400, 800, 1200 and the camera won't accede this I would recommend setting it at iso400, no manual mode but loads of scene modes. It has no optical view finder but that seems to be the trend in the small compact market today with the result sometimes it can be difficult to see the screen in bright sunlight. You should be able to pick this up for around £100 give or take a few pounds.

I was bought this camera as a gift for christmas, and I am totally over the moon with it....I love photographs and think they are the ideal way to capture history and special memories, but in the past I have had the cheaper variety of camera, which always seems plastic and cheap. The Samsung is definately not that, you feel as if your holding a good sturdy camera even though it is very compact. It is going everywhere with me and I am so enjoying learning how to use it. It would have got 5 stars but the manual is a little difficult to understand for someone new to photography.....This camera has encouraged me to seek out an evening class to learn more. An excellent gift that I would highly recommend to anyone.

I used this camera for around 10 months with excellent results on well over 1000 photographs. The videos are excellent quality although they tend to be rather 'jerky' during panning. Flash photographs inside unfortunately often produce weird circular spots here and there in the photograph. Outside the results are great - A3 prints are pin sharp. However recently I also began to get the fatal window - "Camera Stabiliser not available" followed by shutdown. For a while I could get it working again by 'resetting' in the 'image preview' window. It then got to the stage when sometimes it worked and sometimes not - which meant I could no longer depend on it. Today I have returned it to Casio for repair under warranty (2 years apparently) ... A great camera in principal... however only around 5% of our photos have been useable. The majority are over-exposed in normal 'program' mode. Some that are not overexposed have poor colour definition, making for 'unreal' looking photos. Perhaps we should be using the exposure settings, however this surely shouldn't be happening in the standard 'program' mode. Using the manual or other settings did not bring an improvement. After three months of frustration we abandoned this camera and brought the Canon S2iS. Ahhhhh!!!! At last we have a camera that is doing what it should.

I can't really fault it, extremely well made, though a little chunky, takes 2 AA batteries, well eats batteries actually! though all digital cameras do. Huge LCD screen, brilliant sharp pictures too, and video. The onboard memory is tiny though, you can take about 5 shots and that's it, so I bought a 4gb bytestor sdhc which is great, I can store 1,000 shots on that, or 1 hour of video at 7.2 megs. One warning though, I bought mine through pixmania, so the instruction book and the onboard menu were in...French! So I had to go to the Panasonic site and download an English instruction book, that enabled me to change the ... Read More:
