This camera is so much smaller than you think! For a 7 x optical zoom camera it is as small as any other 3x I have seen. Picture quality is great, it's fast with a great screen and decent battery power, what more could you need. I would definatly recommend this little gem.

I used this camera for around 10 months with excellent results on well over 1000 photographs. The videos are excellent quality although they tend to be rather 'jerky' during panning. Flash photographs inside unfortunately often produce weird circular spots here and there in the photograph. Outside the results are great - A3 prints are pin sharp. However recently I also began to get the fatal window - "Camera Stabiliser not available" followed by shutdown. For a while I could get it working again by 'resetting' in the 'image preview' window. My camera is slightly different as it's older but I am very impressed with Nikon. It has lasted 2.5 years and is very sturdy. Pictures can be a bit blurry and the flash is a bit strong but I've got some lovely pictures and I don't ever worry about handling it with kid gloves. I would definitely recommend this, it's easy to use and has lots of lovely features, the firework mode and colour options are amazing.

Fast start up. Fast picture aquisition. Good quality images with lots of control over the Automatic settings. Easly fits in pocket and dust shower proof. The best choice of the 3 types of compact in the Olympus range but if you want something virtually bomb proof go for the SW range where the picture quality is not quite as good but is shock and water proof.
