I bought this camera a couple of years ago after having trawled various websites. My main concern was to have a "pocket camera" which I could have on me at all times. The T10 is light and compact which is just what I wanted, but it also takes surprisingly good shots, even in low light - although you don't have a viewfinder or a zoom-out lens. I've found that, on its macro/magnifying glass setting, it can handle close-ups well and it's perfect for candid shots. As an added bonus, I've also found that its video camera setting is really good - you can record for as long as your memory card allows you to - I've got a 4 GB card in there at the moment and I've taken some fairly long videos. Wanted a good point-and-shoot camera with excellent anti-camera shake as many of my pictures end up blurred. This is it. Great shots, and it is robust. Took it on the river in Kafue National Park in Zambia, all shots crisp and clear, and I even got great close ups of Hippos without going up close and too personal, using the excellent zoom. The battery lasted for the entire 8 day trip. Worth purchasing the special hard leather case for it if you are going bush.

I bought this camera in Dec 2006. It is superb for Macro work - as it has two levels of macro, including a magnifying glass mode which allows you to get very close to the object. Unfortunately the Screen started to play up just after one year of purchase. A Fungus like spot appeared on the screen - which became multiple in a few months. However it did not affect the actual shots. Now I have over a dozenn of them which gives the appearnace of water having been splashed. But it is not on the outersurface, so no amount of cleaning will help. I took it to the SOny agents, and I was told it will cost 114£ or therabouts for Sony to repair it despite it being a faulty product. I was so disappointed, with the Sony after sales service.
